Overview

CILICANT^FG Desiccant Canisters can be safely used in direct contact with a wide range of pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals. All CILICANT^FG Desiccant Canisters are manufactured in ISO 15378 cGMP facility, adhering to stringent global standards. As such, they are compliant with 21 CFR. They are tested in compliance with current USP 41 <670> guidelines. CILICANT^FG Desiccant Canisters also hold both a Type III DMF (Drug Master File) and a Health Canada Master File (MF).

Silica gel is an amorphous and porous form of silicon dioxide that adsorb moisture in random pores having varied diameter. It is nontoxic, inert and stable.

Silica gel helps to stabilise the drug from the effects of moisture when it is filled in a container at an RH above 20%. It is known to perform best at high RH.
