Overview

CILICANTFG Desiccant Pouches can be safely used in direct contact with a wide range of pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals. All CILICANTFG Desiccant Pouches are manufactured in ISO 15378 cGMP facility, adhering to stringent global standards. As such, they are compliant with 21 CFR. They are tested in compliance with current USP 41 <670> guidelines. CILICANTFG Desiccant Pouches also hold both a Type III DMF (Drug Master File) and a Health Canada Master File (MF).

what is activated carbon

Activated carbon/charcoal is treated carbon that has the functionality to adsorb odour. Activated carbon is an excellent odour and gas adsorbent due to its highly porous and large surface area.

why to use activated carbon

Activated carbon in pharmaceutical packaging is useful for enhancing the chemical stability of drug products by adsorbing persistent and reactive odour released by the formulation of the drug.
